In the wake of a lackluster performance in Cameroon, the Black Stars of Ghana are gearing up for redemption on the grand stage of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Placed in Group B alongside formidable contender Egypt, Cape Verde, and Mozambique, Ghana's national team faces a crucial challenge to silence critics and reclaim their glory.

The disappointing campaign in Cameroon saw the Black Stars exit at the group stage, finishing at the bottom of Group C with just one point. A 1-0 defeat to Morocco, a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Gabon, and a heart-wrenching 3-2 loss to newcomers Comoros left Ghanaian football fans in deep sorrow.

Now, as the tournament shifts its spotlight to Ivory Coast, the Black Stars are set to embark on a journey of redemption, seeking to rewrite their narrative and bring home the coveted Africa Cup of Nations title.

The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the 2023 AFCON or CAN 2023 will be held from 13 January to 11 February 2024. 24 countries will compete for the trophy in six venues.
