Anderlecht have turned down a bid from Nice for Ghanaian winger Francis Amuzu, according to le10sport.com.

The Ligue 1 side are looking to strengthen their options up front with an additional wide forward, and have a number of players shortlisted ahead of possible bids before the summer window closes.

Amuzu has been on the radar of Nice following his impressive display for Anderlecht last season where he made 40 appearances, scored 10 goals and provided five assists in the process.

This season, he is in a red-hot form, having scored two goals and provided two assists in six matches.

The current contract will expire in the middle of 2024, and the winger's management also wants a better deal.

Amuzu signed his first professional contract on 23rd August 2015 with Anderlecht for three years.

He made his professional debut for Anderlecht in a 1-0 Belgian First Division A win over KAS. Eupen on 22nd December 2017, scoring his side's game-winning goal.
