Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports, Evans Bobie Ansah, along with a delegation from the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has paid their respects to the family of the late Christian Atsu.

The GFA delegation, led by Nana Oduro Sarfo and including Alex Asante and Henry Asante Twum, presented the family with 50 cartons of water and signed the book of condolence opened for the late Black Stars player.

During their visit, the delegation revealed that plans were underway to inform President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo officially of Atsu's passing, with a visit to the seat of government in the works.

The visit by the Deputy Sports Minister and the GFA delegation follows a tribute visit by former players of the Black Stars who also paid their respects to Atsu's family.

The passing of Christian Atsu has left a deep void in the hearts of Ghanaians, and the nation has come together to mourn the loss of the talented footballer.
