Ghanaian goalkeeper Lawrence Ati Zigi has expressed his gratitude to the fans following his team's recent outing against Lugano.

Ati Zigi took to Instagram to thank the supporters for their unwavering support during the match, which saw St. Gallen secure a point at Lugano's Stadio di Cornaredo.

Posting a photo of himself in action during the game, Ati Zigi wrote: "An important point away. We keep going. Thanks to the fans for their massive support till the end."

Ati Zigi's team fought hard for the draw, with the goalkeeper making three saves throughout the game to help his side avoid defeat.

The 26-year-old has been in fine form this season, featuring in 24 games for St. Gallen in the Switzerland Super League. He has kept four clean sheets from those 24 games, while conceding a total of 33 goals.

Lugano took the lead through Renato Steffen on the 22nd minute, but St. Gallen's Chadrac Akolo equalized in the 95th minute with a well-taken penalty, securing the point for his team.

St. Gallen currently sits third on the Swiss league log with 36 points from 27 games, while Lugano occupies the fifth position with the same number of points.
