Ghanaian forward Aaron Opoku has said he can’t put into words how he feels after scoring for Kaiserslautern against his former club Hamburger SV in a 2-0 win.

The 24-year-old forward, born in Hamburg, was on the field for only six minutes, scoring with his first touch coming on as a substitute.

Speaking after the game, Opoku revealed he wasn’t sure of the direction he was kicking the ball to as it was speculative in the German Bundesliga 2 round 28 game.

“You can do that, I would say, right? To be honest, I didn't expect it, but I just speculated a bit that my team-mate Philipp Hercher would prevail, he has a very good pace,” he said to Bild.

“I was then also in front of the opponent, so that the ball could jump into my path. It's awesome that I'm somehow still going through the run, and then I just push it in. I can't really put into words how I feel."
