Hearts of Oak forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh finally made his debut for the Black Stars in the Kirin Cup against Japan on Friday morning.
The enterprising player was introduced in the second half as replacement for Andy Yiadom.
Barnieh was named among the 33-man squad for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers and the Kirin Cup.
But he was dropped for the trip to Angola for the clash against Central Africa Republic where Ghana shared the spoils.
He was recalled into the team for the four nations tournament and has subsequently mark his debut for the Black Stars in their 4-1 defeat to Japan.
He will hope to maintain his place in the national team ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
