Sharing his excitement on Instagram, Kingston described his conversation with the Ayew brothers as "amazing." This interaction took place prior to the Ghanaian national team's departure for the crucial qualifier in the Island nation.

Both Andre and Jordan Ayew have vast experience in international football scene, having represented the Black Stars in numerous tournaments.
Andre Ayew, the elder of the two brothers, has participated in two AFCON finals, witnessing Ghana's defeats against Egypt in 2010 and Ivory Coast in 2015. Meanwhile, Jordan Ayew featured in the 2015 AFCON final, where the Ghanaian team fell short against the Ivory Coast national team.
The Black Stars currently require a win to secure qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament. The team has been training in Accra since Monday.
On Friday, the squad departed Ghana to Antananarivo, where they will face Madagascar in their penultimate Group E match on Sunday.
