German Bundesliga club VfL Bochum is ready to sign a new player for the next season.
Moritz-Broni Kwarteng is transferring from FC Magdeburg to the Revierklub, according to reports in Germany.
On Friday, the 25-year-old is set to sign a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club. According to the Bild, just the mandatory medical examination is still due.
Clubs such as Borussia Monchengladbach and VfB Stuttgart, in addition to Bochum, have lately been mentioned as interested parties.
According to Bild, a fixed transfer price of one million euros would be paid to Magdeburg, where Kwarteng scored 10 goals and assisted three last season in 29 second-division games.
Kwarteng is particularly notable for his attacking versatility. The two-footed midfielder was mostly employed as a right winger and in offensive midfield, although he also played center-forward, central midfield, and left channel.
Kwarteng was born in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg and is of Ghanaian descent. He started his youth career at VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig, and 1899 Hoffenheim.
