Ghana star Mohammed Kudus was at the receiving end of a malfunctioning Video Assistant Referee in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday lunch time.

The 22-year-old had a clear goal ruled out for an offside against Go Ahead Eagles in match week 27 of the Netherlands league.

After 33 minutes into the game at De Adelaarshorst, the former Nordsjaelland attacker had a heading goal disallowed unfairly when Kudus was onside.

Referee van Der Eijk could not call on the Video Assistant Referee for assistance when the ball went in and their initial decision of an offside was made to stand.

Kudus is having the best season of his career so far, scoring 11 league goals in 26 games and providing two assists. Overall this season, he has 20 goals for club and country.

The Right to Dream Academy graduate was in action for the Black Stars during the March international break in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying doubleheader against Angola.
