In a thrilling FA Cup quarter-final encounter at Nana Amoah Koronmansah II Park on Saturday afternoon, Nsoatreman FC showed incredible patience to defeat a tough Karela United defense, winning 1-0.

The winning goal was scored by Eric Osei Bonsu in the 102nd minute.

Nsoatreman FC coach, Maxwell Konadu, praised his team's patience approach, stating that Karela United's defensive setup required a meticulous plan to break down.

"When you have a team that is defending very well like Karela did, we needed a lot of patience to unlock their defense," Konadu said.

Recognizing Karela's strength in their wingback and midfield, Nsoatreman opted for a strategy of short passes to break their defense. This tactic proved successful, leading to the decisive goal in extra time.

"We saw that they were very strong in their wingback and in midfield. So we had to use the short passes to break or unlock their defense and that is what we did exactly and the goal came," Konadu explained.

The victory secured Nsoatreman FC's place in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
