Karela United coach, Ibrahim Tanko Shaibu says he is a worried man after the team’s latest draw with Hearts of Oak.
The club relocated to Tamale from Anyinase and is having a tough start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
On Saturday afternoon, Karela United hosted Hearts of Oak at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
At the end of a tough game, the two teams shared the spoils after a 1-1 draw.
The draw means Karela United are winless in the last five games.
Speaking after the game, club coach Ibrahim Tanko Shaibu said he is apprehensive because his team needed the three points badly.
"I’m really very worried because we needed the 3 points at all costs to leap from wherever we found ourselves,” Coach Ibrahim Tanko Shaibu in an interview with StarTimes after the game.
Up next for Karela United, the team will travel to Accra for a game against Accra Lions in Week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
