Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton says he is hoping to find the right balance against Madagascar with the inclusion of Hafiz Konkoni in his 24-man squad.
The Bechem United striker was handed a late call-up to the camp of the senior national team following the conclusion of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
The Black Stars in the matchday five games of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers will be hosted at the Mahamasina Municipal Stadium in Antananarivo on Sunday with kick-off scheduled at 14:00GMT.
Ahead of the game, the former Premier League manager is hoping to find the right balance.
"We have only one local player in the team and he’s Hafiz Konkoni who plays for the team that finished third in the Premier League in Ghana," he told the Ghana FA website on Saturday.
"My role is to try to get the right balance and the right balance between the players that are playing abroad and the local players," he added.
Ghana head into the game knowing that a win secure their place in the tournament that will be hosted in Ivory Coast next year.
The Black Stars meanwhile held their final training session this afternoon ahead of the game.
