CAF appoints Moroccan referee Kech Chaf Mustapha to handle Medeama’s clash against Horoya on Sunday

Moroccan referee Kech Chaf Mustapha has been assigned to officiate the first leg of the tie between Medeama SC and Horoya AC in the CAF Champions League playoffs.

The Ghana Premier League champions will take on the side from Guinea on Sunday, September 17.

In a game that will be played at the Cape Coast Stadium, CAF has appointed Moroccan referee Kech Chaf Mustapha as the centre referee.

“Moroccan referee Kech Chaf Mustapha has been appointed as referee for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League final round 1st leg qualifier between Ghanaian champions Medeama SC and Horoya AC from Guinea.

“He will be assisted by Hicham Ait Abbou (Assistant I), Mustapha Akarkad (Assistant II), and Noureddine El Jaafari (fourth referee),” a statement from the Ghana FA has confirmed.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Sanusi Mohammed will work as the Match Commissioner.

The game between Medeama SC and Horoya AC is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
