FC Nordjaelland explains why Ghanaian youngster Osman Ibrahim gain promotion to first team

Sports manager of FC Nordjaelland academy, Mikkel Hemmersam has revealed why Ghanaian youngster Osman Ibrahim gain promotion to the first team.

Osman, who joined Nordsjaelland U-19 from the Right to Dream Academy, but after showing enormous potential, manager Johannes Thorup invited him to the senior team.

He made his debut for Nordjaelland in February against OB, replacing compatriot Ernest Nuamah few minutes to full time.

Since his debut, the striker has become a regular part of the squad.

Explaining why the 18-year-old was promoted, Mikkel Hemmersam said, “Osman has shown quite quickly that the Superliga team was the right shelf for him. He has some absolutely extraordinary top skills in the physical part of the game, and then he is a good finisher”

“But most importantly, we have seen a person who is very willing to learn, which is why we chose to promote him directly to the Superliga team”

“In this connection, the academy in Ghana has done a great and great job. We have faith that he can contribute to the Superliga team within a very short period of time” he said.

Osman Ibrahim is following in the footsteps of Mohammed Kudus, Kamaldeen Sulemana, David Accam and other top players to have pass through the ranks of Right to Dream Academy to attain greater heights.
