Ghanaian defender Nathaniel Adjei made his debut for Lorient in their stalemate against Le Havre in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.

Adjei joined the Ligue 1 outfit on loan from Swedish giants Hammarby IF with an obligation to buy at the end of the current campaign.

After Eben Dugbatey, the Ayew brothers, and Alhassan Wakaso, Nathaniel Adjei is the fifth Ghanaian to play for Lorient.

The Ghanaian centre-back made substitute appearance for Lorient in their 3-3 draw against Le Havre. The defender entered the match for the last 11 minutes and made a good account of himself.

He made one interception, a 67% accuracy in passes, and winning one aerial duel in the much-anticipated clash.

Meanwhile, compatriot, Andre Ayew dominated the headlines after netting late brace to secure a draw for Le Havre in the game.

The former Swansea and Nottingham Forest star was introduced in the 70th minute mark and made a good account of himself by scoring twice in the dyeing embers of the game to earn an away point for Le Havre.

Le Havre opened the scoring after just 15 minutes into the game through Emmanuel Sabbi, who scored from the spot before Imran Louz leveled pegging for Lorient. Both teams went to recess with a goal apiece.

Lorient doubled their advantage in the second half through Ayman Kari after hitting the back of the net in the 51st minute mark but André Ayew restored parity in the 85th minute for his side.

The host appears to have snatch victory after Mohamed Bamba found the back of the net in the 92nd minute but the Ghana international stepped up once again to level pegging in the 94th minute to snatch a draw for the visitors.
