Kwadwo Opoku was sent off in Los Angeles FC's 1-0 defeat to Houston Dynamo at the BMO Stadium in the MLS on Thursday.

The former Attram De Visser academy player did not start the game he came on in the 46th minute to replace Denil Maldonaldo.

The head-to-head record for the teams ahead of the game was Los Angeles FC five wins, Houston Dynamo FC three wins, and four draws.

Micael's left footed shot from the left side of the six yard box to the high centre of the goal gave Houston Dynamo FC the lead following a set piece situation.

In the 79th minute, Kwadwo Opoku of Los Angeles Football Club was shown a red card for a foul.

Kwadwo Opoku has made 15 appearances, scored twice, and assisted one in the MLS this season.

The 21-year-old has been linked to five clubs namely Nice, VfB Stuttgart, Bordeaux, Rangers, and Celtic.
