The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has set its sights on securing partners for its upcoming maiden futsal games, according to GFA boss Kurt Okraku.
Futsal, a variant of football played indoors, has been gaining popularity in Ghana in recent years, and the GFA sees it as an opportunity to showcase the country's talent on a new platform.
However, organizing such an event requires significant resources, which is why the GFA is actively seeking corporate partnerships to support the initiative.
"We launched it today so we have to be patient we have to develop the league and fix the small small identifiable challenges we will identify along the way. But that will not stop our marketing department from going to the market to look for partners for the futsal football league," he said.
"We are sure that once you are supporting and promoting the private sector will hear about the work we are doing and hopefully one or two will come on board,"
